This is my first short composition on the ancient Greek aulos, entitled "Andromache's Lament". Far from perfect, but starting to get the hang of it. Sound ON, of course!

Sparring with the pelta is a lot of fun! I'm basically using a combination of Marozzo partisan & rotella as well as my interpretations of ancient sources.

I've been learning the ancient Greek aulos for a while, which involves playing two double reed instruments (like oboe or bassoon) simultaneously. Still very much a work in progress but I'm starting to get some decent sounds.
