To an extent, I would agree, but I think there's room for making them feel like they're nutcases for raging about something so esoteric that "normal people" just think they're fucking idiots.

Indeed, I wondered if this was taking about a religious point of view, but that would require the date going back to at least -2000, depending upon which. Now I understand what they meant, though.

Someone should be filing these daily against every member of the administration. There should be no other business because the docket is too clogged with impeachments.

I honestly did not expect that the flavor of dried noodles in an air-tight package would change over time. I can corroborate that they do. I'm just saying that it just came as a surprise to me the first time, as well.

simply enjoys fascism so much at this point that democracy is out of fashion vs voters are too uninformed and uninterested to bother to vote in primary elections _at all_ but also refuse to get involved in general elections unless The Perfect Candidate magically appears without their prior input.

As much as I wish I could agree, or as much as it's true for you, it's just not true for voters at large. Biden-then-Harris was about as standard as they come, with Literal Level-headed Dad Tim Walz on the ticket as VP, and that did not turn out well. What's unclear is whether the average citizen »»

Oh my, yes. Even 2,000 USD is only moderate for veterinary expenses. My experience is that any non-trivial procedure is going to be at least several hundred. Surgery from a specialist is at least $5k and can easily exceed $10k if it's complex. Pets can be expensive, if they are unlucky.
