Great. I was just worried that the pocket didn’t SR the same way as the original hardware. I’m glad that’s not the case. I’m sure I’ll get the porygon (gonna name it SHODAN and evolve it to porygon-z) eventually. Tysm for your help!!

I also know that odds are a lot lower than in modern games, but I feel like it’s to the point where it’s getting more and more unlikely that I haven’t encountered a shiny, and that worries me. Ik it’s not “due”, but I’m pretty sure I’ve passed the 8k-ish SRs and know it’s getting statistically odd

Can the pocket SR like a og GBA? It’s Start+Select+A+B, right? I also thought I heard some secret ids or trainer ids are incompatible with the seeds for shinies, but idk if that’s true. I’ve hunted for a fem Combee b4 but that was with cute charm & friend safari in GenVI, so I’m new to the old way

Awesome. I’ve been trying to get a shiny porygon from the gc but it’s been ~1yr with no luck. Obv haven’t been doing it super consistently, and I haven’t been counting SRs, but I’ve put at least 15hrs into SRing. I’m worried I’m doing smthing wrong
