thought about this some more and wanted to emphasize the nuance part of it, I come from a position of privilege bc I don't have to make money from my art, and have less pressures to be seen and video is a very effective way to reach people and have your life changed

and that you have to find a reason to do things that is divorced from outcome (influence, fame, money, etc)

so where do you go from there? I suppose all you can do is take care of yourself

to then realize I need to get good at the game to have a career but to have a career in an extremely purist and monetizable way would be difficult... to then look at all my efforts and be jaded bc I was not having fun half the time..

I also think everyone I've met who have discovered things via text v. video I've generally understood better

I will write about this phenomenon and no one will read it
