I'm a big follower of Birds of Poole Harbour and their Osprey re-introduction, we now have a new Poole Harbour Osprey Dynasty with CJ7 (female) and 022 (male) at the head.

I thought I had missed the lunar eclipse last night as went out on high point looking over towards Bournemouth (East) but there was too much cloud cover. I went home and a bit later hubby saw the reflection of the moon in a property behind us, so I went out and managed to get some photo's

@harbourbirds.bsky.social this was the second Osprey we saw from Holton Lee today that caught a fish at #LytchettBay and headed over towards us, over our heads in the hide. The first one was as we walked onto the boardwalk again flying from #LytchettBay and going in the same direction

I asked Google AI a question for best settings for Wasp Spider, it said S 1/250 F4. I'm a complete novice at photography and new to this camera, but am happy with the results I got @alisoncopland.bsky.social I forgot how to get the macro so couldn't try that @dorsetwildlife.bsky.social

I went to check out the newly opened Cordite Way and this is the first thing I see #leaveOnlyFootprints bumped into volunteers Colin and Mike that have made this possible #thankyou
