I should clarify, i don't have much personal experience using it other than in highschool art class. However, I've seen a lot of people use it online. An important thing to note is that it seems to be more likely to tear the top layers of oaper as it ages. Anyone who uses it, correct me if im wrong

Idk if you've already tried this, but there's a fluid that artists use to protect white areas on their paintings called masking fluid! I'm gonna be so real, idk what places would sell it bc i don't live in a city so i gotta go to one to get specific things like that. But im sure u could buy online
