This lil guy or gal, scooped from certain death in our indoor, is digging his rehydrated mealworms and has taken 2 poops. (Which I remove like mama bird would.) He’s quite opinionated. Still no clue what type of bird. Barn Swallow or House Sparrow are top contenders. I raised a starling 11 yrs ago

Missed posting yesterday on National Adopt a Shelter Pet day. Here are my little loves Charlie and Emma. We adopted them in late 2021 from Cat Tails, a local rescue that transported most of their cats from underserved areas. Mostly the southern US.

His foster name had been “Bad Haircut”. A fuzzy little tabby queen named Emma, lounging in the afternoon sun with her buddy Charlie in the background. Green eyed Emma’s nickname is Tiny Tabby. She is small but can dribble a ping pong ball like Pelé.
