Darwin stuff, born, more Darwin stuff
Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie,
In Flanders fields.

In Flanders Fields
By John McCrae

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings—nor lose the common touch,
...
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son!

"Legal challenges"? Those only apply to democracies. You guys should read the papers, America doesn't do democracy anymore.

But but but ... your plan makes sense, and doesn't offer politically-sexy PR stunts. What could you be thinking?!

yes seems to be a pretty big outage - I'm still getting locked out of a lot of service; thankfully we don't use Cloudflare for our platforms

The interesting 21st century spin on this is that Canadian efforts to diversify global trade back then was challenging. China wasn't nearly developed and ready enough, Europe, the rest of Asia, were all much more difficult to cultivate as deep trading partners. It's a different planet now, it's time

It is very silly

It's what I've been saying since Nov. Dealing with Orange Putin is like trying to discuss dinner plans with a petulant 6 year old with a garden hose.

Which is why Trump is the "Orange Putin" and has been since day one

We'd all love to ignore Orange Putin, but his insanity/dementia/hubris affects hundreds of millions of people, and not in a good way.

Solid State batteries are going to be the turning point for all of this. Assuming reports are accurate that both Japan (Toyota) and China among others have truly finally found the sweet spot of 1000km+ SS capacity including fast-recharge (5-10m) times, the demand suddenly make sense for everyone.

As a 20-something just getting out of school and starting look for places to live, I would totally have invested in something like this. Just big enough for a single 20-something who lives most of the time out of the house, and just needs a well put together place I can call home with enough space
