For example, in USD, I’m up significantly. In EUR, it’s close. However, when I look at gold (XAU) as a currency, the picture isn’t as bright. 📉 It’s a reminder that perspective really matters when analyzing net worth. 🌍

Building my own solution keeps things in-house, but I’ve been wondering if using branded 3rd-party tools in the early stages is more acceptable than I think?

For now, I decided to code my own solution to gather emails and manage preferences. It’s not ideal since I want to focus on NetFiscus’s core business logic, but this feels like the best option to maintain control, professionalism and feature-proof authenticity.

Evaluated Options

- ConvertKit: Solid features but costly subscriptions
- Zoho Campaigns: Affordable, but no custom domain support (a dealbreaker)
- beehiiv: Looks great, but pricey for removing branding

I need an email service to:

- Collect emails via API
- Manage user preferences
- Send updates about the product features

But most options either have steep costs, (not)free tiers with branding, or lack essential features like fully custom domain support.
