Accountability, holding those who cause avoidable harm accountable, is a core component of healing and recovery from trauma.

They say 'time heals all wounds' and I add : accountability speeds the process of healing. Lack of accountability impedes healing. Solidarity is our only super power as the human species. Lack of solidarity in the face of oppression is our achilles heel, cut to shreds.
