i live right by tracks as well and i swearrr they've gotten louder, not just the horns but lately the whole building shakes when it passes by which never used to happen. i wouldn't mind that much if it didn't always pass at 3am 😭

this goes extremely hard, really neat character too!

bats are kind of obvious. they're the vampire animal. he's based on and heavily inspired by vampires.

all of these also tend to be viewed somewhat negatively, bc they're creepy or thought to be evil or bring misfortune. he has a soft spot for them. he thinks being a little evil is ok, as a treat.

owls are nocturnal and often associated with the moon, magic, and secrets — three of his favorite things. he keeps many secrets, especially from those who think they know him well. they're also a reference to his namesake (36th demon of the ars goetia, solas, typically depicted as an owl).

crows are carrion birds, opportunistic scavengers. they symbolize adaptability and mischief, reflecting his own nature. also he loves shinies and he can and will hold a grudge forever.

some of the dye channel choices in this game are just. baffling.

you have no control over prominent accent colors BUT you can dye the 2-pixel-wide metal buttons you can't even see without zooming in all the way, the system is tooootally fine
