Also, with the advent of AI and the amount of ads that are just slop (especially I notice all the christmas ads right about now), it's not only morally evil to be in advertising, but actively harming the planet using data that was obtained unethically at the direct detriment of artists.

I also was contemplating starting an advertising company called Headspace Advertising for a while. No I will not expand on what that concept entailed as I now actively despise the concept.

All this to say I have a lot of opinions about advertisements, and it all boils down to pure and utter hate.

I do believe that there is a *good* advert. I do believe that there is a way to promote to potential customers that you exist and can offer something they are interested in.

If you've known me longer you might know I used to make a webcomic called that would riff (badly) off of recent adverts.

I have 9471 blocked accounts on instagram, my main doomscroll app, and it has made 0 difference in the number of ads that I am shown.

I *hate* advertisements. If you've known me long enough you will remember that I used to actively name, shame, and suggest improvements to adverts.

I would like to see *more* women, yes?

A all day. I give out conservative estimates all the time for the sake of work and it's always better to tell operations they have a boat back early than that I need to keep a boat for longer.
I can't even conceive of a condition where a conservative estimate would be for something taking less time.
