Obviously I'd prefer to travel to Ireland but this just isn't feasible (first ever time not going home over Christmas period 😢)

As far as I can see Stena are accommodating different routes (eg buses to Fishguard) but Irish Ferries aren't. And I'm not sure who can authorise refunds/reroutes here - Trainline or the operator (in my case Irish Ferries).

I've also booked a rail and sail via Trainline - can't even see option of a refund right now, but have yet to phone them. I hope you get some sort of outcome.
