I would like to recommend a book, I'm reading for the 4th time. Ernest Callenbach wrote "Ectopia Emerging" in the 80's. There are sections that seem prophetic about what is happening today.

For the foreseeable future I'm wearing a black armband. I am mourning my country's downward slide.

I've decided that I am not going to use the terms "sir", nor "Mr. " and "Mrs." They reflect back to a time when class ruled society. I am making an effort to "de-class" my language. I have already stopped using other terms that denigrate other members of society.

here I am. not ready, nor willing,nor able. but hopefully I will survive the next four years and beyond.

This looks like a good place to be. Just started here, so we'll see.
