"Oh democracy has died! Oh half the country had no representation! Oh everyone should have spoiled their votes!"
Giving these people airtime legitimises them, when they are actually just rich people, hungry for power.

And worth noting the number of First Preference Votes the Far Right candidates got at the last election. They may be vocal on social media but they have no traction in Ireland.

Needs to be nominated by 20 TD's (MP's) or 4 County Councils to run for President. Isn't going to happen. The drug addict, rapist can posture all he likes - the vast majority of Irish people see him for the comic sideshow he is.

I am 60, a former citizen of the UK who moved to Ireland 23 years ago.
I voted SF - something I never thought I would do. But there needs to be change for the sake of my children and grandchildrens generations.
