Lastly, we came back down to 15 with the first of the 3 cranes on Horgan’s Quay apartments removed. These topped out recently.

The tallest block will rise 9 storeys. There might be a second crane here shortly. These apartments are pretty close to the Mahon walkway and are just north of the older housing estate there.

And in other big news this week, state funding was confirmed for both the former Sextant site (25 storey apartment buidling) and former CMP Dairy (12 blocks, tallest 15-storey).
