Middle grade is the best, isn’t it??

I’m working on a middle grade novel, too! Just finished my third rewrite and hoping to query it this year. Love all this goofy and wacky and fun!

Brontë for sure has dragons, and Malamander has tons of weirdo creatures. Both offer lovable, witty protagonists, fully fleshed out side characters & friends, humor, fantastic situations, mild danger, incredible world building, adventure, mystery, found families. As a MG writer, I just love them!

Has she tried the Brontë Mettlestone series by Jaclyn Moriarty? It’s so good!!
Also I cannot recommend the Malamander series by Thomas Taylor enough!
