#AntiCorruptionDay Corruption erodes institutions, damages democracy, distorts markets, endangers lives, & encourages organised crime. Malta signed & ratified #UNCAC. Action on transparency, accountability, & reforms is urgent. Corruption kills. Change can’t wait.

The #EMFA has entered into force — a historic win for #MediaFreedom in the EU.

Now comes the real test: recognising media not just as economic players, but as essential pillars of democracy.

Regulators in #Malta and across the #EU must protect public interest media accordingly.
