Said goodbye to Annie this morning. She was the goodest girl until the very end. We already miss her, but we know she is busy reuniting with her doggie siblings, running free chasing birds, and digging in ditches looking for turtles. She was an equally sweet and stubborn dog, and so very loved.

Since the dog won’t let me sleep (kidney failure 😭), I made a special treat to have while I knock out another chunk of this book. I’m already so intrigued by the split timelines and intertwining stories. I’m just getting started, but everything Jodi Picoult writes is a masterpiece. #ByAnyOtherName
