Today marks six months since the EF-3 tornado ripped through St. Louis.

I’m thinking about folks like Marvin. I met him while he was rebuilding his own roof.

St. Louis is full of beautiful red bricks that are crumbled in many places. Brick by brick, we show up for each other.

It’s time to be superheroes in real life, not just in costumes. Together, we can unmask the villains, protect families, and finish the work we started. Happy Halloween! 💜🎃

It's time to ensure that Missouri's 1st Congressional District is once again represented by someone who fights for every day St. Louisans, not corporate elites.

As I told Slate, Democrats need to listen to their communities, not big money interests. They need to prioritize our wallets first, solve problems, and be loud.

St. Louis, I’m running for Congress because the work is not finished. I’m ready to fight.

I’ve always shown up for the people of St. Louis, whether I’ve been in elected office or not.

We need a leader who doesn’t hide or back down when things get tough. That’s why I’m running for Congress.

In St. Louis, costs continue to rise while many families struggle to afford the basics.

As your Congresswoman, I'll focus on lowering costs and putting more money in your pocket.

Missouri’s 1st District needs a representative who will answer to the people of St. Louis, not a bought-off politician who waits for permission.

I'm running for Congress to fight for the survival of our families, not the interests of billionaires.

I'll never back down when it comes to freedom, justice, and the people of St. Louis.

True fighters always get back up, and that's exactly what I've done time and time again.

St. Louis artist DORMIR created this art piece as a tribute to our fight for what’s possible.

It features a reminder of what I’ve always said representing Missouri’s First: “St. Louis and I rise.”

When I’m back in Congress, we’ll keep building the district we deserve.

I don’t wait for permission to fight for what’s right. I’m running to represent Missouri’s First because our community deserves a leader who shows up when it’s hardest and fights for all of us with courage.

Thanks for having me, @velshi.com @msnbc.com. #CoriForUs

St. Louis deserves a leader who is built different. That’s why I’m running to represent Missouri’s 1st District in Congress.

We need a fighter who will lower costs, protect our communities, and make life fairer. I’ll be that fighter.

Slavery.
Black codes.
Jim Crow.
Redlining.
Mass incarceration.

Every step of the way, Black Americans have been intentionally pushed back economically. A debt is owed.

It’s time to pay that debt. It’s time for reparations.
