but when your mind DOES wander, do bring your attention back to the breath. every time you do that it's like doing a bicep curl for your focus.

and when you're practicing, if you find yourself bothered by the thought that you might be "doing it wrong", just let the thought pass and bring your attention back to the breath. don't feel discouraged if you can't stop your mental chatter. it's the nature of the mind to think. just let it go.

it's all in the video, unless you're curious i don't think it's necessary to research zen buddhism or anything to use this technique. but one thing to keep in mind is meditation is like exercise. the benefits come with repetition. if 25 minutes a day is too much, try starting with 10.
