Excellent painting with gouache class last night.
The second half of the session was focused on contour drawings (though not the blind technique) of a seated model and applying gouache paint as a background before the drawing; and also after like a standard painting.

Excellent gouache painting class @ MCAD.
We focused on contrasts. Utilizing a provided photocopy of a bust of head, we painted light & shadows on the photocopy.
Then, a live model sat in a chair under a spotlight. We drew basic light & shadow shapes, then painted using opposite colors.
Great fun!
