The USDA sent an email to grocery stores telling them they are prohibited from offering special discounts to customers affected by the SNAP funding lapse.
I'm aware of at least 2 stores that had offered struggling customers a discount, then withdrew it after receiving this email

Been thinking about how many of the talented folks I know have been laid off and struggling to land something new. Even my current role took a year to find. This part of the unemployment story feels invisible. Anyone else seeing this disconnect?

Lately I’ve been thinking about the people and places I’ve let go.
Not out of anger. Just… clarity.
Sometimes you realize the version of you they needed doesn’t exist anymore. And that’s okay.
Peace > perfection.☺️

So this summer has been horrible for keeping my grass under control. I got out today and cut the grass in the backyard and sure enough our resident bunny found their way back. They come and go but always know when the grass is freshly cut 🤣

What’s one thing you didn’t realize as a kid but now very much accept as an adult?

My answer - How much time I’d spend folding clothes 🥴

Happy Sunday folks 🤣
