I don’t believe government should be telling businesses when they can or can’t raise prices. Or telling private colleges what they can or can’t teach. Or disregarding existing laws, regulations, and appropriations without formally rescinding them. I guess that makes me … a conservative?

There is too much renaming going on in the world. For me, now and forevermore, there will be a Gulf of Mexico. And similarly, the new head Catholic will now and forevermore be Pope Bob to me.

After Cyber Command's decapitation, and DOGE opening back doors throughout the government, the smart money seems to believe the government can't keep secrets. Presumably the assumption should be all personal data in the government's hands is also available to bad actors.
