Thank you to everyone who showed up in support of science funding yesterday in CORE-UAW’s Fund Our Future town hall with @repmcgovern.bsky.social! In this event, we heard from grads, postdocs, PIs, and university leadership about how Trump’s funding cuts have affected the important research we do.

This afternoon, UMass Chan postdocs and graduate workers filed to form our union with the Massachusetts Department of Labor with more than 70% support!

We are excited to announce that a majority of postdoctoral and graduate researchers have signed authorization cards in support of forming our union, Coalition of Research Employees-UAW!
