Recently acquired a new (to me) bandsaw that allows enough height for re-sawing planks. Combined woth my drum sander I made quick work of some Walnut I’ve been wanting to turn into an acoustic guitar or two!

A couple days after her wedding my daughter asked me if I could somehow preserve some of the flowers from her bouquet in resin. I consulted youtube and here’s what I came up with. The flowers had started to wilt somewhat but I think it still turned out pretty good. #resinart

Here’s a look at the two single-cut ‘Goldie’ models (4-string bass and 6-string guitar) together.
The other two in the background are also my work as well!

Not a full neck through but a deep set neck instead, it extends beyond the neck end. Full semi-hollow. Here’s a pic of the chambered body.

Sometimes it just fun to print something you think is fun and makes you smile. I will always be impressed with print-in-place modeling as well. Design by (@3dmieks on Insta)

Seeing the auction for Blade Runner 2049 props brings me back to the prop blaster version I made. This is K’s blaster finished similar to Deckard’s original version. This was the first fully 3D printed prop I ever made. Fdm print with modeling by Juri aka 3D Workbench (not on BS).

Frets set on my first acoustic build. I like round over fret ends. A challenge is sizing before setting them. So, I designed and 3D printed a matching fretboard jig. With this jig I was able to “install” the frets to size then easily remove them by flexing the jig. It worked well. #guitar #luthier

Made some improvements to my fretboard radius sander that I built last year, from an old belt sander. It now has a rail guide which allows a consistent thickness to be sanded without room for error. Works great!

Headstock inlay work on my 1st acoustic #Guitar build. Using Birdseye Maple, Walnut, Tuplier, Roasted Maple. The shapes are laser cut except the 1mm wide black inset outline, which I have to cut and place by hand.
