I think it's because we are invisible to drivers. They just don't see us.

And those who just sit in the crosswalk so the pedestrian has to guess whether it's safer to squeeze in front of them or go behind them and risk getting taken out by oncoming cars.

Creeping up to pedestrians in intersection who have the cross signal.

Drivers who block an intersection & when the light turns red they back up without even glancing in their rear view mirror and almost hit the pedestrian in the crosswalk who waited patiently for their walk signal before crossing. Has happened to me twice at Parkdale Wellington.

Because they're deaf to our needs 😂.
