I even subscribed (paid) to her on Ream to read the rough chapter postings of the second book because I neeeeeed them.

I have older siblings, but I'm the one living with our widowed mom now. Right after he died, I had to push through and come out to the garage and do the fire and do other things. Now I can see why it's been so hard to get them to come here more often. It still hurts.

But the thing was, he usually could find a use for whatever he saved. He was a high school drop out that could fix pretty much anything you needed. Cars, equipment (his experience got him a large equipment union job in his 50s with no diploma), some plumbing, some electrical work.

My dad wasn't quite a hoarder, but he wanted to save as much as he could in case he could ever use it. Well, looking at the garage, maybe he was a hoarder.
