Big tech hater
Yeah especially the thing about neurons. What does that mean? Have they just discovered what a Gaussian error linear unit is!?

No and neither does he. Man's describing the end of capitalism

Of course but ceos have zero judgement and do tasks horribly wrong so no wonder they're so confident in AI
February 13, 2026 at 12:47 AM
Hmmm I've heard this one before

These guys and their job displacement fetish is just pathetic

Chris, look at recent studies by Harvard, this one (www.tomshardware.com/tech-industr...) and many others. Or have a researcher follow up the writing/posts of Gary Marcus and Ed Zitron and others in the space who aren't invested in AI in its various forms. It doesn't work much of the time.
More than half of CEOs report seeing no benefits from AI deployment so far — only 12% of business leaders hit the jackpot of higher revenues and reduced costs
New report suggests that the best results with AI come from more AI.

In addition the tech has hit a wall and we're in the area of no to marginal improvement. 2027 is possible too. I don't know how hard the debt fetish of these companies go
LLMs are extremely hard to make profitable and are burning extremely large quantities of cash for objectively meh technology

As someone in the industry my guess is this year to be honest. The amount of money that absolutely doesn't exist being passed around is borderline delusional and none of the returns from LLMs have been a fraction of what's been promised by ceos.

all the good use cases for AI are incredibly boring business shit no human should have to do

its like getting excited about REST APIs

there's no point in talking about it anymore

One more funding round and we can wipe out white collar work... Please bro just one more check. Mass psychotic debt fetish rules the world 😭😭😭😭
February 13, 2026 at 12:12 AM
Yeah it's genuinely mass psychosis at this point
February 13, 2026 at 12:10 AM
Also neural networks are fundamentally just a fuck ton of linear algebra and calculus so go figure if that can suddenly become sentient and magical... Just one more matrix multiplication. Please bro..
February 13, 2026 at 12:03 AM
Lol the transformer attention mathematics that underlines LLMs literally only solved the problem of contextual NLP. How tf would it become a sentient machine. I can't wait for this dumbass bubble to burst 😭
February 13, 2026 at 12:02 AM
Holy shit linear algebra became conscious 💥💥💥💥💥💥💥
February 12, 2026 at 11:51 PM
But these ceos try to get away with it by making LLMs, a technology that has existed for less than a decade, equal to AI, which has been around since WW2. Aaa the state of the industry is so annoying and I hate big tech 😭😭😭😭

Not only this but people think every problem can be solved or must be solved by LLMs. Like 90% of "problems" LLMs solve badly can be solved by smaller neural networks or classical ml models. But because training them is actually affordable it doesn't seem to itch big techs debt fetish well enough.
