i REALLY hate making tweets like this, but i'm in a pretty bad situation i've finally been checking through my finances because i'm dropping nearly all my savings as i'm getting booted out of my place and moving in a few days discord signed me up for server subscriptions as an alternative to patreon a couple of years ago and used to send me monthly payments via PayPal using Tipalti. this was outlined in a contract signed at the time. then suddenly, a few months in, discord stopped sending me payments because they quietly switched to using Stripe instead. they told me about it once, then never reminded me until i had to make a public tweet noticing i discord owe me over a grand i tried to fix it by going through the onboarding process, but Discord or Stripe have locked the connection process to United States users only, meaning I literally cannot get the money out of limbo. i now find myself a grand total of £7500 ($10,000) short of outstanding fees/taxes/STUDENT LOANS for the move that got shunted onto me REALLY suddenly working on the main channel video has been really stressful as a result of that and losing family members this year so it’s been rough and i feel bad asking for help for nothing in return, so i will be streaming as much as i can to recoup the costs i won't get back any help appreciated! ways to help in the replies.
