this new shounen manga, 'Betrothed to a Fox Demon', should get it's deserved hype and anime adaption.

this turned out to be such a wicked movie. men can't just leave well enough alone can they?

my first nobuhiko obayashi film and it was quiet the ridiculous surprise. product of it's (regressive) time indeed.

back-to-back movie watch filled me with sentiment. themes of pet dogs being your most loyal companion can win me over, however good direction is so important I know now.

god damn, i swear a regular love story can undo me

7.) Kokon 2020

This one was more on the realistic side of perception. What does a 14 yr old do with her new sexual awakening? Not all first loves are right, and I liked that trajectory.

6.) Rafiki 2018

No joke, Ziki is one beautiful woman. I would've risked it all for her you know. The cinematography also deserves my applause.
July 3, 2025 at 8:13 AM
5.) Velvet Goldmine 1998

JRM should've been nominated for an Oscar. idc about horrible pacing, this movie was extremely entertaining.

4.) A Secret Love 2020

An emotional documentary which reaffirmed me how everlasting queer love can be. It was real, it was true ❤️

3.) Aligarh 2015

This was sadly a let down. Lost enthusiasm midway, though I will praise Manoj B for his sentimental portrayal of Siras.
July 2, 2025 at 9:34 AM
2.) The Watermelon Woman 1996

A must watch!. Cheryl Dunye's passion is inspiring in this one.

1.) Rope 1948

Alfred Hitchcock was not subtle at all with this story. By basing the two suspects on real life caught gay criminals, the vague queer allusion was too on the nose.

i want to relive the experience of watching this for the first time. emotional catharsis indeed.
