Yes agenda setting still matters because media shapes what we notice and talk about. The algorithms act as gatekeepers, boosting certain topics and hiding others, which affects how I view issues and interact with people online and offline. #UTcommtheory

This meme shows context collapse, when separate audiences merge into one big online space. I normally talk or act differently with each group, but social media blends them together. #UTcommtheory

Ai has negatively affected my learning because of using it brainstorm ideas for certain assignments/projects. This makes it harder to develop my own creativity and critical thinking. #UTcommtheory

As a nanny, I quietly follow the parents rules and communication style, even if I would do things differently. I try to blend in and not draw attention to my own preferences. This shows nonassertive assimilation. #UTcommtheory

I think Amazon’s warehouse needs a culture shift from productivity to people. Encouraging open communication, recognizing teamwork, and valuing well being would create a healthier and sustainable workplace environment. #UTcommtheory

As someone juggling work and college, I’ve learned discipline isn’t natural it’s built. Every early morning and late night adds to credibility as someone who doesn’t give up. This post ethos through personal experience. #UTcommtheory

Yes, I support it. The closer I am to someone, the more ways we communicate. For example I text, call, FaceTime, and see my sister a lot. But with others I just text. Stronger connections leads to using more media to stay connected. #UTcommtheory

A CPM concept that relates to my social media experience is boundary turbulence. I’ve seen it when someone shares screenshots of private messages during arguments. It reminds me of how easily trust can be broken and like clear privacy boundaries matter online. #UTcommtheory

Ross and Rachel from Friends show the autonomy connection tension from relational dialectics theory. Ross wants closeness, while Rachel values independence. This shows how relationships balance intimacy and personal freedom. #UTcommtheory

Axiom 6 Similarity. When I joined my sorority I was unsure about meeting and making new friends. I ended up finding members who shared similar interests in event planning and social media. This reduced the uncertainty and helped me connect easily. #UTcommtheory

I chose option 1 to violate an expectation. I normally respond back to my boyfriend fast unless I tell him I’d be busy. But I didn’t respond for 2 hours and he texted me asking if everything was okay. His response showed that he cared but also how he’s used to me responding right away. #UTcommtheory

I’d say I’m drawn more to interpretative approach because I feel the communication can be a bit complex to measure. I like how this approach looks at people’s perspective and the understanding of their interactions. #UTcommtheory
