For years, the dirty little secret about college admissions was that college’s essentially practiced affirmative action for male applicants. High School girls are better students, have higher grades in average, and make better college candidates. For gender balance, schools have men an advantage.

Can’t wait for them to vote on this. Perfect content for 2028 Democratic campaign attack ads.

By design. House Republicans got the Speaker they wanted.

“Skandalakis said he considered severing Trump’s case from his codefendants to try them first…However, he said, doing so “would be...unduly burdensome and costly for the State and for Fulton County.”

So, basically, defending Democracy costs too much and is too much trouble!

I wish the news media would focus more on this angle rather than letting him position himself as a peacemaker.

From what I’ve read, the answer could be several competing crypto stablecoins issued by governments (i.e. the EU, China, Japan) and large, private banks. How “stable” would this be? Not very. We would move into a much more volatile period of international trade and economics.

Okay. But that just makes her a Jr. Senator. Who actually leads the caucus. And what makes them better than Schumer?
November 10, 2025 at 2:37 AM
Who? Name names!
November 10, 2025 at 2:35 AM
You can primary Schumer and maybe someone like AOC could win. That doesn’t mean they become the Senate Minority Leader, though. They become a Jr. Senator with very little power or influence. If we decide to change leadership, my question is who are we switching to and will they be stronger?
November 10, 2025 at 12:45 AM
I’ve read that Senator Brian Schatz (D, Hawaii) is in line to succeed Schumer (he’s currently the Whip). Check out his record and let us know if you believe he’d be a stronger leader.
