Me: "Blogging is dead".

Also me: 📚 Librarian of Things (librarian.aedileworks.com) has had 20K views since 2020 🥳

To give you an idea of how absurd and bad a breach this is, when TicketMaster had a data breach, and they offered myself (and others) temporarily free access to Transunion's security monitoring to "as a precaution" to "further protect your identity" 😬

Delighted to see a local colleague’s work mentioned in this piece.

I am astounded how much time and effort is saved by using the MPMB DnD Character Sheet. It contains several simple forms that drive rich computation along with helpful text and all embedded in a single PDF.

This is what a university course calendar should be! Or any series of forms! www.flapkan.com

Someone must have written about Paul Otlet’s work and the aspirations of LLMs, but I haven’t come across it.

If you have or know a piece, let me know! 📚

In 2016, I helped with a small local hackathon by hosting cycling data from Strava on a dkan open data server web.archive.org/web/20161030...

I am telling you this because *today* I walked past a sticker that I designed for that event on my workplace parking garage. Unsure if I am being messed with

Another update: I've added another image that shows that the QR code displayed on the TRMNL is good enough to bring you to a LibCal booking screen:

Hey friends in #yqg. I'm currently working on my 20 slides for the "fun" portion of the Bike Windsor Essex AGM.

The AGM and slideshows are going to be held on Wed May 28 at the Cookie Bar, if you would like to join us all.

I'm shutting down my just-for-fun omeka-hosted collection of Library Punch Cards on reclaim.hosting (libraryofcards.reclaim.hosting) and moving these 12 cards to Flickr: www.flickr.com/photos/mita/...

Happy to take submissions!

I'm at #werobot2025 and I'm making a bibliography of all the books that I've heard mentioned (librarian gotta librarian).

www.zotero.org/copystar/col...

I've included *Sourdough*, because it includes a story-line of training a robot to crack an egg.

Let me know what I've missed.

For lobbying, go to www.oico.on.ca/en/lobbyists... and click on search registry.

You can't see full registration so its difficult to know if keyword searching works at all, so I would just search for 'health' in the ministry field and browse through the results.

Point of order: Point of order: I think the None of the Above Party needs to have a party bylaw that only allows those with a last name beginning with XY or Z to be allowed to run:

I've decided that contribution to the Wikipedia project is to upload details about each Supreme Court of Canada decision to Wikidata. I've just added 2025 SCC 1, R. v. Hanrahan at www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q125275...

And I know that people have seen the work because of this 'Wikipedia Unwrapped' thing!
