If they’re going to have them speed run a craft, the judges should be doing it alongside them to prove it can be done.

Exactly this. I rarely tune in to those shows because I get zero joy out of the tension of someone trying their best only for the clock to run out and what ever they’re doing falls apart. And the host just raises their eyebrows. “Time’s up!”.

I’m sure that’s a tour poster where Freese played live. I’m confident that’s a room in his house/studio.

Moaning or not, they're in for a shock when 1,000s of people previously employed in a computer-based job suddenly join their industry due to AI. Perhaps Anon will get to see what all the fuss is about first-hand.

Draw glasses on the mould... make it a part of the cast.

Bizarrely, going all analog might now be the less risky option. Sure “AI can do everything”, but a small group of people will want analog-only stuff.

I thought we (as someone from Wakefield) claimed Black Lace.

Just tell us the budget! We can usually accommodate it, but if this is just an opportunity to save money, then last time I checked, Fiverr is still active. 90% of the time it's not even their money either. Spend it. Everybody wins.

I had no idea even after getting 3 words.

“Love music” and “listen to the radio” don’t make sense to me. If you like music enough you’d take charge of what goes in your ears. Great for not hearing Dylan ever again as well.

It's vastness + the way it functions + math/3D-based terminology has me lost. To scratch my 3D itch I've been playing in WOMP, but of course you can't really animate anything in WOMP. Baby steps, (whilst 20-somethings seemingly make leaps and bounds).

Sadly, AE still doesn't have a worthy competitor. The best contender is Blender as they're making moves in all areas (2D/3D animation and motion graphics), but the learning curve is so steep... and I'm old and scared.

Statistics suggest that on average you can do better with other forms of investment (with a similar level of security), but PBs scratch the 'in-it-to-winner' itch. The chance of winning so much more is why I do it. And as OP implies, a five/six figure win makes a real difference.

The exact reason I do them. I agree with OP and the best version I can find is Premium Bonds.

These things are the same. It's only that you have positive and negative opinions about each that you're seeing some kind of narrative in his way of thinking. To me it's consistent: He has money/power to break social norms and say controversial things which in turn give him a lot of attention.

Why do people feel the need to let Blippi and Cocomelon into their house. There’s so much better out there.
