Peter Norman's Australian record, set at the 1968 Olympics where he stood in solidarity with Smith and Carlos, is the one broken two days ago by Queensland U18 athlete, Gout Gout. Well done, son. I imagine Norman would be pretty happy to have you stand in his place, too. (Repost with alt text.)
