Love this image of the Bro Dyfi Community Renewables site. This was the first community owned wind turbine in the UK, and they've now added 300kW of Solar PV to the site. Every town and village in the country should replicate this combo.

I'm driving on sunshine! ☀️🚗 But what's best, biodiesel or electricity?
Fuel from 1 hectare of oilseed crop = <18,000 miles of driving.
BUT
Electricity from 1 ha of solar PV = 2 million miles in an electric car!
☀️⚡🚗 !🤯
The solar/EV electric combo is incredible!
(And 1 wind turbine = 40 million!)

From my point of view things haven't changed much. In England we still have to be going all out to build community owned renewable energy like solar and wind, and to get everyone aware that they need to be choosing a heat pump for their next central heating system. Stay focused and lead by example.
