Been making good progress with the dialogue system in Neuroverse Warriors, it is nearly ready to show! I plan to post to r/Godot to get some feedback, and then update r/NeuroSama.

I'll post a video here in the next few days, I just need to draw some more sprites, here are the two that I got so far:

I should post my drawings here. Behold, this is a parody of a famous Garfield stripe I made, Vedal and Evil replacing Jon and Garfield. It's amazing how funny I find it. I'm the queen of laughing at my own jokes. I giggle every time I look at it, it's just so silly! I love making things that I love.

Check out the progress I've been making on UI! The battle UI looks much better now. Though I still need to figure out where I'll put the descriptions for the actions and status effects. I'm not that sure about the portrait being a camera into the world. I mean, it's fun! But it might be distracting.

This party select menu is turning out quite nicely! It serves for smooth swapping and reordering of characters, both with mouse and with keyboard. I should still add more information about the characters, like name or description. I've also limited the party size to 3, but it's not set in stone yet.

I'm really happy with the nice comments I got on Reddit when I posted about my game! I've already started work on 0.4. First order of business: walking between scenes. Now the world won't be just one gigantic scene! Good for performance, designing, and also I'm no longer bound by euclidean geometry.

Check out the pattern of this forest I made! Hopefully it makes a nice layout for traversal, because I'd like to keep it. Well, I don't really know what makes a map good, so why not? Why shouldn't I keep it?

Anny has been implemented in battle! I still need to add her in the map and figure out how she's going to be unlocked. I have made pretty little progress story-wise. It's tricky! I'm no writer. I think I might leave dialogue for 0.4 instead of 0.3.

I have done nothing but re-draw sprites for 3 days. I'm sure this is not the first time a gamedev has made this exact meme. The upside is that now the main characters on my game look great! To me at least. So I won't have to change them again. I still have so many new sprites to make.
