I'm just a laymen w/o a proper answer to the question, but the paper does mention that mRNA vaccination reduced the amount of spike found in various organs - but not completely (reduced but didn't eliminate the risk). You'd assume the opposite if the spike formation/levels generated acted the same.

How about you talk about this guy in relation to Birdflu that's on the verge of mutating to allow for human to human transmission?
