so I may still try it just for the heck of it.

We've also been tackling the insane thistle and got most of it gone or at least cut down so we can slowly manage to pluck it by the root over the summer.

One thing I didn't have much luck with was comfrey, so I will probably try to start those again. I also want to split up some hostas this fall and make more hosta plants to line our fences and help with the need to weed around the fence line.

watermelon, cantelope, Cala Lilly, larkspur.
We also have some perennial stuff coming in like red currants, tons and tons of elderberry, apples, peaches, plums (though they were going to take those down eventually because they were showing signs of disease), and fennel.

I'm also trying to decide on a spot for stinging nettle so it can go crazy but in an area where no one hangs out.
As far as vegetables we've planted, if I can remember them all, it's just some basics that we eat here.

Today I'm planting a horseradish plant that I'm fine with going crazy where I'm planting it. Some lavender, more rosemary, echinacea, hibiscus, sweet potato slips, bee balm, thyme, fig tree, apple tree, goji berries, more elderberry slips from our own elderberry plant, calendula,

I'm also pretty proud of the amount of food we've planted this year. Still, a little more to plant today, and will be working on succession planting throughout the summer, but we really knocked out a healthy garden this year even if it's not as big as I'd like it to be 🙂
