[3/3] When I draw my own characters, I'm the one who gets to decide the connotations I'm going for. I can draw a woman with her female-presenting nipples on show and that doesn't have to be sexualised unless I want it to be. I get to choose the vibe in a way I can't IRL, basically.

[2/3] As a woman it pisses me off that me and my brother could both stand in the middle of town topless and that would be socially acceptable for him to do, but not for me - not much I can do about that, but I CAN draw women (and/or anyone else) as just people having bodies, and that's that.
