soz if this sounds cringy but I grew up keeping my love of manga and drawing hidden to avoid getting made fun of and yet I kept drawing anyway, and now I just want to encourage younger artists to embrace whatever they love about drawing no matter what - I think that's the fuckin' coolest thing FR

Whenever you feel defeated, or hopeless, remember that if the power ever went out... Artists can still create with anything at hand, just like we always have. The dogturd imitations become worthless steel husks.

Creativity is defiant and real and will always be.

Even though I taught myself to draw doing digital art, and still love the medium (alongside others), art is more something I am than anything.
