This spring, I'm busy taking cuttings from dahlia tubers. Each cutting will grow into its own plant, and several cuttings can be taken from each tuber. It's a fun process to multiply your stock and scratch that gardening itch while you wait for the last frost.

This tarp has been down for weeks to prep a 5000sf plot. No tilling (for ~✨soil health✨~ but also because I'm lazy). I planted a mixed spring cover crop which will improve the texture of my clay soil and become a fresh mulch layer. All that prep work will be worth it when the flowers start blooming.
