Finished a hand painted back piece for an upcoming nautical feminism and marine conservation themed battle jacket.

There’s a lot of symbolism in this one with numbers and items. (Any likeness to real life people is purely coincidental….)

A mackerel themed siren holds the severed head of an old man. She wears a shell bra with the number 13 painted on one. 3 mackerel fish swim past inquisitively. Seaweed with starfish frame the overall composition and 3 old glass netted fishing balls sit in the bottom corner. Knives of all sorts of disciplines point at the severed head. The feminine number of power 666 is between them. The siren smirks and gives side eye, proud of the head she’s severed. Painted with acrylic and fabric medium on cotton.

Now, I'm not much of a background artist, I really did try. First time doing water and also first time using procreate. It was fun experimenting and learning though.
