A little chat while we light the boat's lanterns and enjoy drinks in North Margaritaville - rain, shine, or snow. What we're seeing, what we're listening to, what we're doing while we wait.
Time to learn what complex carbohydrates are and how to use them for maximum effect.

I've been on too many planes lately.
The alligators in Florida are down right ugly these days.

Take the shower.
Have a second cup of your favorite hot beverage.
Eat something that delights your senses.
Breathe.
Tell someone you love them.
Take a nap later.

You're doing okay.

Many of us are watching 2025 come in with an aurora borealis in our backyard. If it seems like this is happening a lot - it's because it is. The sun's 11 years cycle has swung to the active side and bright skies are the result.

The northern lights could be visible Tuesday night and Wednesday night over the Northern Hemisphere due to a geomagnetic storm.

"January 1st" is one of the greatest communally tacit lies that ever was. It is based in nothing astronomically relevant - agreed upon by ancient politicians who were guided by a mix of (at best) pseudo-scientific beliefs about the universe.
Yet, here we are. Dropping random shit to count down.
