Needing some kind of drying support, I took note of a suitable spare board in the garage and proceed to set up an absolutely cursed clamping configuration. The results have filled me with hubris

Been ages since I've made jam, but the basket of strawberries at the grocery store called to me. Not enough rise on the bread, might need new yeast, but it still came out so damn tasty for something so easy. The slice I had last night was gone before I even thought about a pic 😂

Well the designs are really pretty and the fabric is so delicate and it's kind of magical how it shapes up after blocking and--

Guess who forgot to wind their next skein of yarn into a ball before work? 😬
Also it is blowing my mind how much yarn this pattern takes, I'm only at about 1' 8". When I did a garter stitch scarf with the same yarn (different color), I was over 3' with one skein.

Looks like the current #showmeyourknits going around is cables, and as luck would have it my current WIP is my first cable project. It's StudioKnits' reversible Meadow Vine scarf, minus one cable, to narrow it slightly. The lighting really doesn't do the green justice.

Scarf no. 5 is the most ambitious one for me so far, and I have been sweating over it, lol. Done three practice pieces so far on a generic yarn. The left swatch is the 2nd, getting my ribbing neat. 3rd is the right, figuring out the selvedge (not in the pattern) and cables.

Next project started, a scarf for @lukelabbo.bsky.social ^.^
Took a stab at making my own pattern/chart for this one. My idea was to have it be reversible, with the pattern of stockinette squares. I didn't realize the purl sides wouldn't quite blend into the garter stitch, but I still like it 🧶
