I HATE ticks and this is a real eye opener for me. We need to start taking care of our earth better so future generations won't have to endure terrible things like a tick invasion!

That is such a cool and creative way to help better the earth!

This is a great example and it shows how sport can be impacted by the environment in the most unpredicatable ways.

A great example of the positive impact government can make in a sport is shown through the U.S. boycotting the 1980 Moscow Olympics in protest of the Soviet Union's invasion of Afghanistan.

This is a great example of how politics in sports can in-fact be a positive thing at times. Athletes should continue to do this in hopes a better future in regards to common inequities in our society.

This example shows the type of things that governments should be doing more often when it comes to their use of money in sports.

I thinks it's crazy that we're getting to a point in life where were able to watch sports games on Netflix. It really shows how far we've come as we started with only having access to a singular channel for sports.

When Hungarian swimmer, Katinka Hosszu, beat the world record in the women's 400-meter medley, NBC commentator Dan Hicks praised her husband. As the camera panned to Katinka's coach/husband, Hicks stated "There's the man responsible".

Its brutal talking about stuff like this and thinking about how some people have the ability to kill people, especially over something like a soccer game.

Thats a really interesting story. It's not everyday that an NBA player would take initiative to turn himself in. Keep up the good work.

The "Malice at the Palace" was one of the most unsportsmanlike conducts in history. During a game of basketball a beer was hurdled at an athlete named Ron Artest. Ron sprinted to the stands to fight the fan and his teamates followed, starting the closest thing to a full out brawl in the NBA.

This is a great example. It reminds me of Alejandro Kirk from the Toronto Blue jays as he has been able to do great things for the team despite also being labeled as "out of shape".

One of my favourite examples of deviance in sports is the famous "Hand of God" goal in the 1986 FIFA world cup. Professional soccer player Maradona used his left hand to punch the ball into the net. The ref missed it and it was counted as a goal with Maradona keeping his mouth shut. #Underconformity

This is a great example of a deviantized body in sports. Congrats to Emmanuel, as playing basketball at a very competitive level whilst missing an arm is a great example of strength and perseverance.

I agree entirely. Sometimes you have to risk it and this is the perfect example. If it were the regular season or even an earlier playoff round I believe the right decision would be to rest him, but it's not every day that you have a chance to win the World Series!

Famous gymnast Simone Biles has been challenging gender norms in her sport as of recently. Biles has pushed back against sexist media comparisons from the people famously stating "I'm not the next Usain Bolt or Michael Phelps, I'm the first Simone Biles".

Fred Saskamoose was a Canadian indigenous ice hockey player. Whats so interesting about Fred is the fact that he was one of the first Canadian indigenous players in the National Hockey League, and the first First Nations player to ever have a treaty status. Fred entered the league in 1953.

As a physiotherapist I will be much busier than I am these days, but that won't stop me from remaining in the world of sports and improvement every day. I will still be attending the gym daily and although I won't be playing sports at competitive levels, I'll still find ways to play sports daily.
