just chiming in , i'm really not quickly dismissing this - for a few dats, every single one of my inquiries from everyone asserting this has turned up nothing substantial.

I've already been so fond of PNG images. I find them beautiful, especially with pattern diffusion.

does it have external scripts or stylesheets? if you can one inline everything in the index.html, it could work (also use data url for the images )

I wonder if theres a very very simple way to allow a user to click a button on a static website to save it for offline use (at the same URL[?]) if not connected to internet, that would be neat or at some cool easily memorable URL or at the click of a desktop icon

what about custom elements? couldn't a dashboard even be canvas, object, even SVGs?
