I think achievements can be fun in their own way. Plus there is some merit and camaraderie to them too. Like seeing that I got a 5% one - of course makes me feel cool - but it also makes me go, "Oh wow. I wonder how THEY got it?"

It's very easy to see them as a check list though.

I think it's specifically summoning a creature and having it fight 'automatically' for you, as seen in Scarlet/Violet.

And this isn't to be apologetic because that's still really bad. A handful of MMOs aside, even the original Persona 3 had a mechanic like that.

Yeah. That's what this video is, and what a lot of his videos have been. Especially the Squid Game series which is too ironic for me to comprehend. I'm not disagreeing with that.

I was referring to videos like helping blind people see, building free housing, etc. Things along that nature.

Yeah. I mean, as far as I know. He still made some of the most YouTube YouTube videos you'll ever see, but there was a lot that were philanthropic in nature or just celebrated good will.

He was cool back in the day :/
