However, the company has been criticized for single-handedly being the worst insurance company I have ever dealt with. I also just found this little tidbit. From the welcome screen (click the "A" logo in the upper left corner) you can click on your account name to get to Account Settings, which leads to a web page where you can toggle a couple "AI training ok?" options on and off. I had one on, one off by default.

I just downloaded the new app to look at it, and you can even turn that annoying little Canva AI studio button OFF entirely.

So, proceeding cautiously*, but fingers crossed.

*—(I'm in the middle of several projects so I probably won't switch to the new app completely for some time.)

Hey digital artists! Little tip to help keep from drawing on the wrong layer. This won’t work in all situations, of course. But often you can turn down the opacity of layers you DON’T want to be working on, so it’s obvious if you do start to draw on them!

Wow. Was watching a linguist video about the "Mary/merry/marry" merger and how most Americans say them all the same, and I'm like "But Mary and marry are totally different?!"
So I looked at the map … turns out I grew up in Eastern PA at the HOTBED of Mary/merry/marry resistance! 🤯
